Riva del Mare Camping-Village is a tourist accommodation facility that directly overlooks a stretch of beach on the beautiful Ionian Coast of Calabria.
Riva del Mare was born from the idea of contributing to the enhancement of the stretch of “Costa degli Achei” falling in the Municipality of Calopezzati, with a tourist offer aimed at those who want to spend their vacations in comfort and relaxation in campers or mini-apartments.
The facility is in fact equipped with 50 spots for campers, each with water and electricity connection, as well as common toilets with showers with hot water and, 20 mini apartments, equipped with every comfort, with exclusive courtyard or veranda.
Inside the facility there is also a Restaurant-Bar with a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea and an area equipped with children’s games up to 13 years old. The property has an equipped private beach and offers babysitting service upon request.
Making “spend a relaxing vacation with your family” is the dream that Riva Del Mare wants its guests to experience.
The Camping-Village Riva del Mare is in the territory of the Municipality of Calopezzati(Cosenza), a charming village of medieval origins, whose historic center is in a panoramic position at 217 meters above sea level with the Castle dating back to the Norman period at the center of its settlement.
At sea level, about 3 km from the historic center, we have instead the marina of Calopezzati, where the Riva del Mare camping-village is located and where there are other tourist accommodation facilities as well as various commercial activities such as newsstands, tobacconists, supermarket, stores selling typical products, fishmonger, butcher, bakery and pharmacy.
In the central square, 1 km away from the Riva del Mare facility with a fully urbanized path, or in its vicinity, it is possible to find a beach-volleyball court, five-a-side football field, bowling greens, and an equipped playground for children.

BY PLANE: landing at Crotone airport (1 hour’s drive from Calopezzati), Lamezia Terme airport (2 hours’ drive), Bari airport (2 1/2 hours’ drive).
BY TRAIN: stopping at the Calopezzati train station or at the station in nearby Sibari, where the Frecciargento Bolzano-Roma-Sibari also arrives, with multiple stops throughout Italy.
BY CAR: Driving along the SS 106 (E90) for those arriving from the Adriatic Highway, orexiting at Sibari and then always driving along the SS 106, direction Reggio Calabria, for those arriving from the Mediterranean Highway (A2).
